Izzy Heltai released the best EP of 2021. The five song EP from the Massachusetts based singer-songwriter is one of the best new pieces of music you will hear this year. You’ll be singing along to “Day Plan” before you know it. Highest recommendation. Give Izzy Heltai a listen this week and let me know what you think.
I love EPs because they give new music obsessives like myself a window into an artist beyond just a single. I remember finding Holly Humberstone on a radio show in January 2020 and since then she has released some seriously big hit songs. Her EP highlights where she’s headed musically. Easily, it’s the second best EP of this year.
Chartreuse’s EP is just perfect and the band’s track “Deep Fat” is my most played song over the last month. Go listen to this song! The full list of the best 21 EPs of 2021 is below.
Bonus: the last edition of The Weekly Soundtrack playlist this year features the perfect new song from Arny Margret. Thanks for listening along this year!
